About the Study

This study aims to explore the perspective of caregivers of children with terminally ill with cancer regarding end-of-life Care. It will examine caregivers’ preferred site of care, key priorities in managing the child’s illness, and their views on communication and information sharing with both themselves and the patient. Additionally, the study will assess the broader psychosocial impact of the child’s illness on caregivers and siblings.

Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
  • Caregiver of patients with cancer receiving end of life care / palliative care in terminal stages of cancer: 0 - 18 years of age.
  • Parents/ Caregivers in whom communication of poor prognosis/ outlook and futile nature of curative treatment done.
  • Treatment with palliative intent.
Exclusion Criteria
  • Patients above 18 years.
  • Caregiver refuses consent.
